Getting ready for a zoo-themed mural
The client gave me a lot of creative freedom for this zoo-themed mural in their nursery. I was excited to work on this project as it allowed me to express my creativity and create a fun and colourful environment for the baby.
The first step in the process was to have a consultation with the client to discuss their vision for the mural. During the consultation, I asked the client what type of animals they wanted to see, what colours they preferred, and what overall theme they were hoping for. Based on their feedback, I created some initial sketches that incorporated their preferences.
After presenting the initial sketches, the client requested a few revisions, which I was happy to make.
Mocking and painting the mural
Next, I began to mock up the design on the wall in pencil, so the client could get a sense of what the final mural would look like. Once the client approved the mock-up, I started to paint. I used bright and vibrant colours to make the animals and the overall scene comes to life. The painting process took a few days to complete, but I made sure to keep the client updated on my progress along the way.
Final thoughts and clients feedback
Finally, once the zoo-themed mural for the nursery was complete, the clients were thrilled with the finished job. They complimented me on my attention to detail and my ability to bring their vision to life. The baby seemed to enjoy the new mural in their room and couldn’t stop looking at all the different animals he could see.
Overall, it was a great experience to work with the client and see the joy that the finished mural brought to them and their baby. I look forward to working on more projects like this in the future.
